Please save the dates. Every Sunday in the month of March after church we will have a new members and adult confirmation class. The first Sunday of March will double as a new members and adult confirmation class and the next four Sundays will continue in the vein of adult confirmation classes. 

You can think of the new members class as an orientation to Hillcrest gathering as well. There is no expectation that you will join the church as a member but it will be helpful as a time for you to ask questions and get introduced to the ministry as it currently lives. 

The adult confirmation class is for anybody who is interested in learning some of the basic principles of Christianity and Church life as we live them at Hillcrest. We will have an introduction to some basic concepts and ideas around God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible and the Church. It will involve some reading but I will keep it to a minimum and it will not be required to participate in this class. 

The new member class and the adult confirmation class are open to everybody and are specifically useful for those who have come to worship with us in recent months. 

The adult confirmation class is specifically intended for those who are relatively new to the Christian faith or have been around but never been introduced to some basic ideas, and especially if you're interested in exploring the question of baptism. Again there is no expectation of any outcome for you. It is simply an open invitation for anybody who wants to explore some basic ideas and understand what it is we believe, we share, we do, and how you can be part of this and how you get to change the practices that we have.
