Blessing of the Animals will be on the patio at approximately 11:30 following worship. Animals are welcome in the Sanctuary for the worship service, but need to be held, leashed, crated or caged, depending on the animal. Please bring pads, blankets, or “beds” for the animals to lie on if you think our concrete floors would be too uncomfortable for your pet.
Sunday Morning Adult Education continues at 9:30 beginning discussion of the Reformation on it’s 500 Anniversary. Booklet from the Stillspeaking Writers’ Group, United Church of Christ will be the basis for our discussions.
Children’s Education Children should join other children on the Upper Campus at 9:30 for Children’s Christian Education and will join the congregation at the beginning of the 10:30 worship service. Children will leave worship after the Children’s Moment and return to the Upper Campus for additional church school. Older children and youth are always welcome to stay for the whole service. Child care is always available for very young children on the Upper Campus.
OnOct 15, and Sundays with Extended Choir rehearsal at 9:15, youth and children’s activities and supervision will be available at 9:15 before the regular Christian Education begins.
