Hillcrest  Church is a part of “Green Spirit Contra Costa”, a small group of progressive, local churches who will be participating in the Earth Day/John Muir’s Birthday celebration at the John Muir House National Historic Site

Green Spirit Contra Costa is a group of pregressive congregations with a great love of science and the natural world, as well as having a strand of “green spirituality”. We will be at the Earth Day John Muir Celebration to honor the life and work of John Muir, the wonder of the natural world and its protection and preservation, and to share our earth-loving spirituality with our neighbors.
