Harvest Sunday Food Offering: Everyone is encouraged to Give Thanks by bringing a packaged or canned food offering (or other items not in need of refrigeration) to the sanctuary this Sunday Nov 24th. Food will be distributed to families and individuals coming to the Food Room before Thanksgiving. Special “Thanksgiving” frozen turkeys on ice (up to 16 lbs) and related food donations will help provide families with their own special Thanksgiving Day.
Adult Education. Adult Education continues this week, 11-17-2019 @ 9:30 with worship following at 10:30. Our exciting video series, ProFuture Faith: The Prodigal Species Comes Home, gives us plenty of opportunity for discussion. Join us in Fellowship Hall-Parlor for discussion and fellowship in adult education before worship.
Children’s Education continues this week at 9:30 on the Upper Campus. This is the same time as Adult Education begins, so adults can attend the Adult Education Most children will join the congregation for worship at 10:30 and leave after the Children’s Time part way through the worship service for additional youth-oriented Christian Education. Older children are welcome to participate in the entire worship service. Ushers can provide directions to the Upper Campus church school location.
Harvest Pie Fest will follow worship in Fellowship Hall, hosted by Hillcrest for dessert enjoyment for everyone. (Hillcrest is postponing the traditional Harvest Dinner until refrigeration is available.)
