Hillcrest Congregational Church

The youth  meets at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. At the moment we are renovating our game room, and applying the skills we learn to our own lives.

In one of our recent lessons we looked at areas in our lives that need a fresh coat of paint. When we prepared to paint, we had to tape parts of the room that we didn’t want paint to get on. While doing this, we looked at areas of our life that we didn’t want to change (or get effected), and looked at the ones that we wanted to get a ‘new coat’.

One of our teens had this insight to what they would change and keep the same.

“I want to continue to love the same people I love now, but I want to become more tolerant of others. I need to develop a new approach towards  school.”
